As the Assistant Director of Accounting \/ Assistant Controller, you will:<\/p>\n

• Oversee the integrity and documentation of transactions within the accounting cycle.<\/li>\n
• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.<\/li>\n
• Manage and mentor the accounting team to achieve exceptional results.<\/li>\n
• Conduct account reconciliations and ensure compliance with US GAAP.<\/li>\n
• Research and apply accounting standards, preparing internal white papers as needed.<\/li>\n
• Collaborate with FP&A and other teams to maintain accurate financial statements.<\/li>\n
• Drive the successful completion of annual audits.<\/li>\n
• Participate in and lead special projects, including process improvements and internal controls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • Oversees and directly participates in execution of treasury strategies, operations, and approved policies including warehouse credit facilities and securitization activities<\/li>\n
        • Assist in the structuring, pricing, and execution of asset-backed securitization.<\/li>\n
        • Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors (investment banks, legal counsel, and rating agencies) to ensure timely and effective execution of securitization activities and transactions.<\/li>\n
        • Assist in the strategic planning of capital raising activities, including optimizing funding sources via securitization vehicles to meet the company\u2019s liquidity and capital requirements.<\/li>\n
        • Review and approval of compliance reporting including borrowing bases and weekly and monthly servicer reports.<\/li>\n
        • Monitor the performance of the company\u2019s securitization portfolio, including ensuring timely reporting of financial results.<\/li>\n
        • Oversee and directly participate in the development and maintenance of financial models with outside third parties to support the valuation and performance analysis of securitized assets.<\/li>\n
        • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as rating agencies, investors, third parties and counterparties to ensure the successful management of the portfolio.<\/li>\n
        • Work with secured lenders and trustees in distributing and reconciling all remittances.<\/li>\n
        • Prepare and review weekly, monthly and annually the reports for securitization activities for internal stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory bodies.<\/li>\n
        • Maintain and enhance cash flow forecasts to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements<\/li>\n
        • Work closely with the Treasury, Accounting and  Finance teams to integrate securitization strategies into broader corporate financing plans<\/li>\n
        • Take a leadership role in managing the company\u2019s borrowings<\/li>\n
        • Leads AUP and other quarterly and annual audits with financing partners<\/li>\n
        • Participates in new equity and debt financing transactions as appropriate<\/li>\n
        • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with securitization transactions, including market, credit, and operational risks.<\/li>\n
        • Work with the risk management team to implement effective strategies and controls to minimize exposure to risks related to asset-backed securities, ensuring compliance with internal risk policies and external regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n
        • Provide financial analysis on potential securitization opportunities, evaluating key performance metrics and risks associated with securitized assets.<\/li>\n
        • Support in the preparation and presentation of reports to senior management and board of directors on the status of securitization transactions and strategies<\/li>\n
        • Work with other departments, such as Legal, Risk Management, Accounting, and Operations, to ensure the successful integration of securitization transactions into broader business operations.<\/li>\n
        • Assist in the management of interdepartmental relationships and communication with external stakeholders, including investors, rating agencies, and underwriters.<\/li>\n
        • Advise management on the liquidity considerations for both short-term and long-term planning.<\/li>\n
        • Identify process improvements to optimize treasury activities, automate functions, and increase internal controls<\/li>\n
        • Provide ad hoc support to the treasury team, Treasurer, VP of Finance, VP of Accounting and CFO as needed, assisting with urgent tasks such as cash flow analysis, liquidity management, and capital market activities to ensure timely and effective execution of financial strategies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                                      What your day looks like:<\/strong> <\/p>\n

                                      \n
                                      • Maintain, and update the 13-week cash flow forecast on a daily, weekly, and 13 week rolling basis, ensuring accurate cash and liquidity projections for the business\u202f <\/li>\n
                                      • Analyze historical financial data, operational trends, and industry benchmarks to inform cash flow projections and identify any potential liquidity gaps or cash management opportunities.\u202f <\/li>\n
                                      • Work closely with accounting, operations, and other departments to gather cash flow inputs, identify potential cash flow issues, and ensure accurate and timely data for forecasting.\u202f <\/li>\n
                                      • Produce and deliver clear, concise, and actionable reports on cash flow forecasts, cash position, and working capital to senior management and key stakeholders.\u202f <\/li>\n
                                      • Monitor and analyze actual cash flow against forecasted values, identifying and explaining any significant variances and making recommendations for any corrective actions.\u202f <\/li>\n
                                      • Assist with optimizing cash flow management strategies to ensure efficient use of cash, including working capital management and short-term liquidity planning.\u202f <\/li>\n
                                      • Continuously improve and refine forecasting processes and models to ensure accuracy and alignment with the company\u2019s financial objectives and business needs.\u202f <\/li>\n
                                      • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used in reporting by regularly verifying and validating sources, performing data reconciliation, and implementing quality control measures to identify and correct discrepancies.\u202f <\/li>\n
                                      • Work closely with Treasury on the preparation of various debt\/investor reports, including corporate debt requirements as assisting as needed with servicer reporting, settlement statements, etc.\u202f <\/li>\n
                                      • Assist as needed with corporate debt capital markets activity, including refinancings of corporate revolver, corporate term loan B, trade facilities, factoring facilities and similar transactions.\u202f <\/li>\n
                                      • Support audit and agreed upon procedure requests\u202f <\/li>\n
                                      • Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory compliance. Identify financial risks related to cash management and implement mitigation strategies.\u202f <\/li>\n
                                      • Assist accounting as needed with requests regarding in the month end closing and financial reporting process, including account analysis and reconciliation\u202f <\/li>\n
                                      • Assist in performing ad-hoc financial analyses and other special projects as required by the business, particularly related to cash flow, working capital, or capital expenditure planning.\u202f <\/li>\n
                                      • Assist in special projects or other Treasury related responsibilities as needed and\/or as requested by Management including assisting from time-to-time on securitization and ABS tasks and projects\u202f <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                                            The experience and education you bring:<\/strong>\u202f <\/p>\n

                                            • 5+ years of experience in public\/private accounting, financial reporting and\/or internal audit\u202f <\/li>\n
                                            • Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting, preferably in a corporate environment.\u202f <\/li>\n
                                            • Familiarity with cash management, treasury functions, and financial reporting.\u202f <\/li>\n
                                            • Extensive knowledge of GAAP\u202f <\/li>\n
                                            • Knowledge of financial regulations, internal controls, and best practices in treasury operations\u202f <\/li>\n
                                            • Experience assessing, designing, and implementing internal controls\u202f <\/li>\n
                                            • Experience with Great Plains Dynamics, Blackline, Planful, Dataserv and SQL a plus <\/li>\n

                                                  The Skills you bring to the Sales Team:<\/strong><\/p>\n

                                                  • Direct long-term fleet management sales experience<\/strong> is a must, with leases ranging from 2-5 years in length<\/li>\n
                                                  • Exceptional use and management of CRM (Salesforce) or any CRM<\/li>\n
                                                  • Strong networking and sales lead development capabilities<\/li>\n
                                                  • Influencer with demonstrated negotiation skills<\/li>\n
                                                  • Strong verbal and written skills are required with a wide range of levels up to and including \u2018C\u2019 level Executives with our clients and prospective client companies<\/li>\n
                                                  • A working knowledge and competency with common business information technology software and ability to learn and utilize proprietary company software and on-line web-based tools employed by the company<\/li>\n
                                                  • A basic understanding of how to interpret financial statements to assess the credit worthiness of prospective clients<\/li>\n
                                                  • Knowledge of leasing contracts and deal structures along with ancillary fleet management services<\/li>\n
                                                  • Excellent time management<\/li>\n
                                                  • The desire, willingness, and ability to learn \u2013 inquisitive in nature<\/li>\n
                                                  • Ability to function as a collaborator and assist in directing and coordinating company resources to meet the needs of clients and prospects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                                                    The Expertise you have:<\/strong><\/p>\n

                                                    \n
                                                    • A minimum of five years\u2019 experience is preferred in sales or a related field within the fleet leasing and management industry<\/li>\n
                                                    • BA Degree is preferred or equivalent Fleet Sales Experience<\/li>\n
                                                    • Demonstrated history of being a top performer.<\/li>\n
                                                    • Must hold a valid U.S. driver's license and an acceptable driving record at time of hire.<\/li>\n
                                                    • Must continue to keep a satisfactory driving record, as determined by Merchants, and remain eligible to be insured by the company\u2019s vehicle insurance carrier. Employee must cooperate in completing any required authorizations or paperwork for regular motor vehicle checks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
