Gary Singer serves as Owner of Merchants Fleet and Chairman of the Corporate Board. He has been involved in the Merchants business since 1976. Gary is now focused on ensuring Merchants continues to deliver on his father’s philosophy of superior client service and innovative solutions. He leverages his rich history and experience in the Automotive Fleet Business by sharing his knowledge and providing leadership throughout the organization, especially in the areas of client support and sales.
Gary is well known throughout the Greater Manchester community for his philanthropic efforts and for holding various leadership positions for nonprofit organizations. Some of the organizations Gary has supported include: Temple Israel, Jewish Appeal of New Hampshire, The Salvation Army, The American Cancer Society American Red Cross, and Catholic Medical Center.
Gary graduated from New York University in 1976. He lives in the Manchester, NH area with his family and enjoys summers in Newburyport, MA.
Robert Singer serves as Owner & President of Merchants Fleet. He has been involved in the Merchants business since 1969. Today, Robert ensures excellence with a commitment to the Merchants client base by providing business acumen & leadership to the teams managing some of Merchants premier accounts, while maintaining his own portfolio of business. Robert has acted as the executive sponsor in broadening the financial base of Merchants.
Robert is an active philanthropist and leads a charitable initiative, Jordan’s Dream Fund, in memory of his son Jordan who passed away in 2017 at the age of 28. The organization supports those who are similarly affected by rare cancers and has a goal of raising one million dollars.
Robert earned his Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies from the University of New Hampshire. He lives in the Manchester, NH area and spends time golfing in Florida.
Jeffrey Singer serves as Owner & Vice President of Merchants Fleet. He has been involved in the Merchants business since 1975. In partnership with the Merchants teams, Jeffrey works in various capacities across the company.
Jeffrey has spent countless hours giving back to the community, serving on several non-profit boards such as the Webster House and Maimonides school and is a past President of Temple Israel in New Hampshire.
Jeffrey obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from New York University. Outside of the office, Jeffrey enjoys spending time with his 3 daughters and 7 grandchildren, including two sets of twin boys.
Michael Sydney serves as Owner & Vice President of Merchants Fleet. He has been involved in the Merchants business since 1983. Michael is responsible for all matters of corporate real estate and facilities for the organization. He is a sought-after resource on many company initiatives and plays an active role in contributing to the overall financial success of the organization.
Michael is active in the Greater Manchester community and is involved in various fundraising activities for a variety of charities. He has contributed his time and energy to such notable causes as the Salvation Army, Jewish Federation of NH and Temple Israel of Manchester. Most recently he has been involved in fundraising for and rebuilding a local historic Jewish cemetery.
Michael earned his degree in Business Management and Finance from Bentley College in 1979. He lives in the Manchester area with his family and enjoys spending time with his nine grandchildren and traveling with his wife of over 40 years.
