Combined, they have over 300 years of experience in fleet management & an average of 22 years of leadership experience, and they lead over 400 employees nationally. Brendan P. Keegan serves as Chief Executive Officer [CEO] at Merchants Fleet, he was recently awarded Visionary CEO of the Year by CEO World Awards. He joined the company in January 2018. Brendan has been involved with Merchants Fleet since 2009—as a client, board member, and strategic advisor. He is focused on transforming the company’s business model and creating a new industry known as FleetTech. Brendan’s innovative leadership has fueled the company’s strategic direction and been the driving force behind its industry-leading growth.
Brendan is a six-time, transformational President & CEO of companies ranging from 500 to over 10,000 employees located in nearly 150 countries in the technology and financial services sectors. Brendan also served as the Fortune 100’s youngest Chief Sales Officer for EDS, a $22-billion technology industry leader. Brendan has raised nearly $2.0 billion in capital and returned over $4.0 billion to investors. He has trained over 250,000 leaders, led nearly 50,000 employees, and driven sales of over $100 billion.

He is a sought-after speaker at conferences in the financial services and technology industries and is a regular speaker at Harvard University, Brown University, Dartmouth College, Holy Cross, Middlebury College and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Brendan received his Bachelor’s Degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an MBA from The George Washington University, and Executive Certificates from Columbia University, UPenn & the University of Chicago. Brendan and his wife Dana live in Southern New Hampshire with their two children, Kaylie and Patrick. As a commitment to their community they founded the Keegan Courage & Faith Foundation with the goal of giving back $1.0 million to youth education, athletics, and at-risk youth.
Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Jerry Pavelich serves as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer [CFO] for Merchants Fleet. He joined the company in 2016. Jerry provides strategic financial leadership to the Merchants Fleet businesses and is tasked with driving the long-term capital plan fueling the Merchants Fleet accelerated growth trajectory over the next several years. He, in collaboration with the leadership team, was successful in enhancing and expanding the credit facility in conjunction with a capital raise in early 2018.
Jerry brings 30+ years of proven leadership, success, and in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry to Merchants Fleet. His professional background encompasses a broad range across the financial services sector, including credit card lending, insurance, retail banking, and commercial leasing experience.
Prior to Merchants Fleet, Jerry spent much of his career at General Electric, where he served as CFO for GE Capital – North America Fleet Services. Jerry also held CFO positions for several operating units of Citigroup, CUNA Mutual Group, and Barclaycard US.
Jerry received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He and his wife Julie are natives of Minnesota and enjoy frequent trips back to their lake home near the Canadian border. Jerry is an avid hiker and runner aspiring to climb the 48 4,000-foot peaks in New Hampshire’s White Mountains.
Jeanine L. Charlton
Senior Vice President & Chief Technology & Digital Officer
Jeanine L. Charlton serves as Senior Vice President & Chief Technology & Digital Officer at Merchants Fleet. She joined the company in June 2018 after serving as a Merchants Fleet board member. Jeanine provides strategic leadership to all Merchants Fleet technology initiatives, to include the innovative and proprietary fleet management software – Merchants TotalView. She is focused on positioning the company for technological advancement and continued growth while creating a culture that celebrates innovation and collaboration.
Jeanine has an extensive Fortune 100 technology leadership background in the automotive, transportation, supply chain & manufacturing industries. She has been on the forefront of IT and business integration by leading the consolidation of manufacturing and technology processes and strategies to create a superior client experience at technology powerhouses DXC Technology, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and Electronic Data Systems (EDS). Over the past 25 years, she has successfully enabled multiple enterprise and government transformations, leveraging technology, services, and people, resulting in improved financial, client, and employee metrics.
Jeanine is an active member of her community, having served on several boards as a technology advisor and contributing time & resources to many community initiatives, including Michigan Women in Technology, Susan G. Komen, and the Boys & Girls Club of SE Michigan. She has been a mentor in the Menttium Global Leadership Development Program for over 15 years.
Jeanine attended Central Michigan University. She has received training from the Arizona State University Thunderbird School of Business and Harvard University in executive leadership. Jeanine lives in Chicago near the Merchants Innovation Center with her husband Greg Burke and family. Jeanine remains active and passionate about health, fitness and nutrition.
Senior Vice President, Sales & Consulting
Tom Coffey serves as Senior Vice President, Sales & Consulting at Merchants Fleet. He joined the company in 2011. Tom provides strategic oversight to Merchants Fleet’s development of industry-leading offerings to the broad fleet client base. He leads over 35 industry-leading, business development professionals who provide value to clients of any size, in virtually any industry, with a strong focus on client relationships and exceptional service. He has been instrumental in Merchants Fleet’s growth to the 8th largest company in the fleet management industry, nationally.
Tom has over 25 years in the fleet and equipment leasing industry. Prior to Merchants Fleet, Tom served as the Senior Vice President of Sales for Donlen, where he was responsible for sales and new business development for nine years. Additionally, he was the Senior Vice President of Financial Solutions for GE, leading business development and client service, as well as the North American efforts in Truck Fleet Services. He has extensive national sales experience, having held regional fleet sales management positions in Atlanta, St. Louis, and Pittsburgh.
Over the course of his career, Tom has worked with hundreds of clients, managed portfolios exceeding a billion dollars in assets, worked across numerous fleet types including sales, management, livery, utility construction, and government, and managed over 50 employees. He is a strategic leader in the Merchants Fleet family and a highly sought-after thought leader in the fleet management industry, having been quoted in Automotive Fleet, Fleet Management Weekly and Business Fleet.
Tom received his Bachelor’s Degree from Kalamazoo College. He has Six Sigma Quality and Credit training. Tom lives in the Greater Manchester, New Hampshire area with his wife Carrie and his family.
Senior Vice President, Operations
Adam Secore serves as Senior Vice President of Operations at Merchants Fleet. He joined the company in June 2006. Adam provides vision and senior leadership to the over 200 employees dedicated to providing an exceptional client experience to the diverse Merchants Fleet client base. He is focused on driving strategic operational scale and delivering best-in-class results in all operating areas. Adam is directly involved in the business architecture of Merchants Fleet technology TotalView, which enhances client results.
Prior to serving as the Merchants Fleet operational leader, Adam was an industry-leading General Manager working for Ford, Chrysler, Nissan, and for the Merchants Automotive Group retail division, the award-winning Merchants Auto pre-owned vehicle dealership. Under his leadership, Merchants Auto grew over three-fold, providing consistent, record-breaking results to the Merchants portfolio of businesses. During his tenure, Adam led all aspects of the retail business, from strategy & marketing to sales to operations and finance, and he developed many innovative product offerings for Merchants Auto clients, including Right Direction Financial Services. He has an extensive background in management and the automotive industry.
Adam has earned several honors in the automotive industry, to include 3-time Dealer Rater Top Dealer in New Hampshire.
Adam attended Southern New Hampshire University. He has also received training from Harvard University and The National Automobile Association. Adam lives in New Hampshire near Merchants Fleet headquarters with his wife Shannon and family.
Vice President, Mobility
John Cail serves as the Vice President of Mobility at Merchants Fleet. John began his career in the fleet industry in 1990 and has held several different roles during his tenure. From 1990 to 2004 John was General Manager of a Rent-a-Car business. Beginning in 2004, John served as the leader of Merchants Mobility, leveraging his extensive experience in fleet to provide vision and leadership to the rapidly growing and changing area of Fleet Mobility. He is focused on driving innovative new offerings to bring mobility to Merchants Fleet clients, including the Merchants short-term leasing and pool management products.
Over the course of his career, John has serviced thousands of clients, provided over 100,000 short-term leases to mobility clients, worked across 45 industries, and managed over 600 employees. He is a strategic leader in the Merchants Fleet family and the executive sponsor for new verticals in the Merchants Fleet suite of products and services.
John attended the University of Southern Maine. He lives in the Greater Manchester area with his family and enjoys time on the lake and motorcycle rides.
Vice President & Chief Credit Officer
Jack Firriolo serves as Vice President & Chief Credit Officer at Merchants Fleet. He joined the company in 2011. Jack oversees the company’s increasing number of diverse accounts across many industries to ensure strong overall credit quality. He supports all initiatives to manage credit risk and portfolio management with prospects, clients, and strategic growth initiatives. Jack has led change and supported the growth of Merchants Fleet into new market segments to be the 8th largest industry player.
Most recently, Jack was the owner of a consulting business specializing in strategy, mergers, acquisitions, and business restructuring in the healthcare sector, and owned several diagnostic imaging centers in the Northeast. Jack previously served as the President & CEO of Philips Medical Capital (PMC), leading growth to over $1 billion in four years.
Before PMC, Jack was Vice President and General Manager of the Commercial Finance/Asset-Based lending division of De Lage Landen and held several other key senior management positions at various Fleet and Equipment Finance businesses in the areas of risk management, sales, operations, finance and strategic planning and development.
Jack received his Bachelor’s Degree from William Paterson University. He lives in greater Manchester, New Hampshire, and Doylestown, Pennsylvania, with his family.
Vice President, Human Resources
Alicia Hart serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at Merchants Fleet. She joined the company in July 2003. Alicia is focused on providing an award-winning, great place to work for the 400+ employees who work at Merchants Fleet. She has spearheaded new initiatives to include extensive employee onboarding, wellness initiatives, and performance management.
Alicia serves as an example of the career growth potential at Merchants Fleet. She started her career at Merchants Fleet as Human Resources Administrator and has since held different positions in the company from 2003 to 2017, up to her current role with a special focus on talent management.
Under Alicia’s leadership, Merchants Fleet has been frequently named an award-winning place to work both locally and nationally. Merchants Fleet has received Best Company to Work For nods in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. Additionally, the company has been Great Place to Work Certified during 2016, 2017 and 2018. Other awards include Coolest Companies for Young Professionals and CEO Cancer Gold Standard. Alicia has supported an expanding workforce, starting with 180 employees in 2003 to now over 400 employees, spread over 20 states and growing. She’s active in the community, supporting initiatives such as Stay Work Play NH, Manchester Area Human Resources Association, and the Society for Human Resource Management.
Alicia received her Bachelor’s degree from Franklin Pierce College and her MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. She lives in the Greater Manchester, New Hampshire, area with her family.
Amanda E. Rogers
Vice President, Marketing & Innovation
Amanda E. Rogers serves as Vice President of Marketing & Innovation at Merchants Fleet. She leads the design & implementation of enterprise-wide marketing and innovation initiatives. In 2019, the company went through a full rebrand and launched its Innovation Department, which focuses on providing innovative resources, ideas, efficiencies, and solutions to Merchants Fleet teams and clients. Amanda leads the Merchants Academy leadership development program that kicked off in 2018. Her focus is to create exceptional experiences for Merchants Fleet prospects, clients, and employees.
Prior to joining Merchants, Amanda spent 5 years with velocityHUB as Partner, responsible for developing leaders through professional development programs across 15 diverse industries for companies such as HP Enterprise, Dell Corporation, and ProtoLabs. She also served as a marketing, strategy, innovation, and process management consultant to many of these companies. Amanda is the Co-Founder of The Victory Academy, a sports and education leadership training division of velocityHUB, where she served as a leadership coach to over 25,000 students and student-athletes at over 40 institutions to include Brown University, Dartmouth College, and Tufts University.
Amanda was recognized in 2018 as a member of the NH Forty Under 40 class, in 2019 as an NH Seacoast “10toWatch” finalist, and in 2015 as the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce Young Professional of the Year. Additionally, Amanda volunteers across the community.
Amanda received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Boston University, where she also played Division 1 lacrosse for the Terriers. She lives in the Seacoast, New Hampshire, area.
