Who Needs a Fuel Card?
Any company where employees purchase gas is eligible for a fuel card. This type of program allows you to limit and verify purchases and ensure only authorized employees are using the fuel card.
A fuel card is also a great option for contractors or contractor-type services where fuel can be expensed to clients.
Fuel cards can be used at most national and regional fuel merchants where MasterCard® is accepted. You can also put rules in place so that drivers can only use the cards at Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 fuel stations. A Level 1 station, for example, may have an inside credit card swipe machine that collects limited data, whereas a Level 3 station would collect more detailed data such as driver information, odometer readings, and more. Level 3 stations are your most secure stations, and they capture and pass back the most detail.
You can also limit fuel cards to at-the-pump purchases, and they can be authorized for electric vehicle charging transactions.
Rebates may be available depending upon the size of your fleet, credit approval, the structure of the account, or other factors. Contact Merchants Fleet to explore whether you qualify for certain rebates and additional cost savings.

We understand the importance of safety and accessibility when it comes to residential care vehicle. Common upfits include rear and side wheelchair lifts, ramps, safety lights, partitions, alarm system, brandings and decals and upfits for facility work trucks, such as plows.
What are the benefits of fleet vehicle remarketing?
If you are looking to sell buses or non-traditional/specialty vehicles you already own, consider our GuaranteeBUY program. Similar to fleet lease disposal, this program will offer you a guaranteed price up front for your vehicles. We assess your vehicles, and then our remarketing experts determine the appropriate value. From there, we handle the entire fleet remarketing process, including any inspections and fees associated with selling.
