Jessica Bruning Elected to National Association of Women in Construction – Greater Orlando Chapter Board of Directors
Merchants Fleet is proud to announce that Regional Sales Manager Jessica Bruning was recently elected as a Director for the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) – Greater Orlando Chapter. NAWIC’s goal is to enhance the success of women in the construction industry. They offer their members opportunities for professional development, education, networking, leadership training, public service, and more. Bruning has been involved with NAWIC since 2016.
“I ran for a Director position because I value NAWIC and the women that are involved in the association,” said Bruning. “I am honored to be selected as a Director, and I’m excited for the opportunity to elevate our current and future members so they can impact the construction industry.”
Bruning is Regional Sales Manager at Merchants and works with small- and medium-sized and franchise fleets in Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi that are seeking specialized, tailored fleet services and solutions. She has over 15 years of relationship management and sales experience. Prior to joining Merchants, she was Assistant Vice President at The Bancorp and she also was a top performing Account Manager at Enterprise Fleet Management. Bruning also was Director of Admissions at Wiley, where she worked on training, development, and recruitment. She received her bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
