Merchants Fleet Signs Lease on New Corporate Headquarters to Accommodate Growing Workforce & Client-Base
After a year of unprecedented growth, Merchants Fleet has signed a 10-year lease on a state-of-the-art corporate headquarters in Southern New Hampshire. In January 2018, the company launched a new and aggressive strategic direction focused on growing the company’s national client base while attracting the best and brightest employees across the fleet industry. The new headquarters allows Merchants to build on their legacy of delivering exceptional service and the most innovative fleet management experience to their clients.
A team of industry-leading architects, space planners, designers, and construction managers are designing the new headquarters to include collaborative spaces that will help drive innovation and reflect the company’s position as the “New Face of Fleet.” The new headquarters is slated to open in late summer 2019. Merchants Auto, the pre-owned dealership division of Merchants Automotive Group, will remain at its current location, 1278 Hooksett Road in Hooksett, New Hampshire.

The company had been on the hunt for a new location for several months with the goal of better accommodating its expanding team. In 2018, Merchants hired nearly 150 employees, including 20 fleet industry leaders, to support its rapidly expanding fleet lease and services portfolio. The company is currently the eighth largest fleet management company nationally, and it expanded its lease and services portfolio to over 74,000 vehicles under management in 2018.
