After an exhaustive location search, a complete build-out, dozens of design iterations, and hundreds of moving boxes, Merchants Fleet has landed and is open for business at its new headquarters at 14 Central Park Drive in Hooksett, New Hampshire.

“I always say enjoy the journey – and today is the first day of a new journey for us,” said CEO Brendan P. Keegan during an opening celebration in the new cafeteria. “This is the third facility in our history, and it reflects where we are headed as a company. We believe the new building will create a more innovative and collaborative culture for us to work together to create all of the innovations that will fuel our strategic direction.”

Michael Sydney, Owner and Vice President, reflected on the business’s nearly 50 year journey from a lot on Valley Street in Manchester, to the Merchants Auto location at 1278 Hooksett Road, to the new facility.

“In this space, we are going to accelerate into the best FleetTech partner in the industry, and this proprietary model will empower us to deliver the highest value to our clients,” he said. “Congratulations to all of you – now let’s get down to work.”

Fast-FactsThe 55,000 square foot space was selected because it could accommodate the company’s growing employee base in a single location. It was designed specifically to strengthen company culture, foster productivity, and provide a state-of-the-art client experience. In addition to conference rooms equipped with video conferencing technology, individual as well as team work rooms, and a training center, employees have access to a variety of amenities, including a gym, grab n’ go food station, standing desks, and a community center with games like ping-pong and Pac-Man.

“As we designed this space, it was important to us that the building highlight the journey our clients take when they work with us,” said Amanda E. Rogers, Vice President of Marketing & Innovation, who led the project. “We see the new space as a home for our clients, as well as our employees. This space supports our commitment to an exceptional client experience, while providing creative and innovative spaces for our employees to develop unique fleet solutions for fleets of today and tomorrow.”

The company will be celebrating their new chapter with employees and clients at their location during a two-day Fleet Summit on October 2-3. The event will feature training sessions for clients, a ribbon cutting ceremony, and a fall festival for employees and their families.
