Merchants Fleet Expands Remarketing Reach with Addition of Sales Manager
Hooksett, N.H. February 27, 2020: Merchants Fleet is expanding capacity for its in-demand commercial vehicle remarketing services, and has hired Jesse Hopperstad as a Remarketing Sales Manager. He will be responsible for assisting new and existing Merchants Fleet clients in the Western half of the country with remarketing their vehicles.
Merchants Fleet has seen significant growth in its remarketing services, specifically its GuaranteeTRAC® program, which offers a guaranteed, upfront price for vehicles.
“As our remarketing business grew, it became increasingly clear that we needed to expand our team,” said Jeff Thomas, Regional Vice President of the West Region at Merchants Fleet. “Jesse’s senior-level account management experience is going to be a great asset as more companies look for fast, streamlined ways to dispose of their vehicles.”
Hopperstad has 20 years of combined sales experience in the rental, upfitting, and automotive industries. Most recently he was a National Account Manager at Auto Truck Group, where he managed multiple key accounts and successfully increased territory sales. His areas of expertise include strategy development, consultative sales, contract negotiations, territory management, new business development, and client service excellence. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from University of Colorado at Boulder. He is based in Littleton, Colorado.
