If your organization is ready to start its fleet electrification journey, you might be aware of some of the steps needed before placing an order for your electric vehicles (EVs). For example: finding expert consultants to match your use case to the right EV models, hiring trusted partners to design your charging infrastructure solution, and even building out a pilot program.
The first step for many companies is often issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to find a partner that can align with your vision. While there is no “right” way to create an RFP, using the same template for all of your requests can get you a standardized response from potential partners.
This guide will give you an idea of common questions to ask when designing your own EV RFP. We’ve also provided an EV RFP Template that you can use as-is or customize to the specific needs of your organization.
