The new Electronic Logging Device (ELD) mandate became effective in December, 2017, but law enforcement agencies have been observing a kind of soft rollout, writing up citations with no CSA points or vehicles taken out of service. That is all about to change as full enforcement of the ELD rule goes into effect April 1st.
